Permanent Jewelry FAQs
Permanent Jewelry Basics
Explore the newest trend: Permanent jewelry—bracelets, necklaces, and anklets—professionally welded onto you for a secure, clasp-free fit. While it might seem intimidating, it’s actually painless. With no clasp, the jewelry stays on as long as you like. To remove, simply cut the chains and keep them for future welding.
Once you’ve chosen your chain, material (14k gold-filled or sterling silver), and a charm or connector, we will weld the chain on you, guaranteeing a smooth and comfortable.
Safety is our top priority. We take every precaution to ensure a secure and comfortable experience, including the use of protective measures such as leather padding and safety goggles.
Not at all! We use a painless micro-welder. With just a quick flash, your jewelry is expertly fused for a permanent finish. You’ll barely even know it’s happening!
Our chains are 14k gold-filled and sterling silver, chosen for their exceptional attributes. These materials are hypoallergenic, resistant to tarnishing, and known for their durability, making them excellent choices for long-lasting jewelry.
Permanent jewelry, when cared for properly, can endure for years or even indefinitely. While most pieces maintain their beauty over time, occasional adjustments may be needed for some items.
If you’d prefer a removable option, we can easily add a clasp for your convenience.
Don’t worry at all. Simply cut the chain at the connecting link, and you can hold onto it for future welding. Just bring it back to us, and for a small fee we’ll expertly weld it back together, restoring its permanence.
Absolutely! Your permanent jewelry can be worn through airport security without any issues.
We’re meticulous about the materials we choose.
Our 14k gold-filled chains are chosen for their resistance to tarnishing, making them an excellent choice for lasting jewelry. While they typically maintain their shine, rare circumstances such as variations in body pH or prolonged exposure to chemicals may cause slight tarnishing. Simply wash your jewelry with mild soap and water to keep it clean and sparkling!
As for sterling silver, it actually looks better with wear. The natural friction and oils from your skin help maintain its luster. If it ever appears dull, a quick rub with a polishing cloth will bring back its shine.
